About Leon Fletcher

I am a huge Nintendo fan, hence why NintyBuzz exists. I especially love all things Zelda and Metroid. NintyBuzz was started by me back in the Summer of 2014, it started out mainly as a hobby, though the site has gradually grown, and I hope it grows for many years to come!

Departing Memories of Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Only days remain until the departure gate opens for Animal Crossing New Horizons. Not too long until we move away from our lovely towns from our fabulous neighbours. We have many fond memories of turning over a New Leaf on the Nintendo 3DS, so we are taking this opportunity to tell them before our New Horizons induced self isolation.

Check them out after the break!

LEGO x Super Mario Playsets Announced

Earlier this week, The LEGO company teased a collaboration of sorts with Nintendo’s Super Mario. Today, we got a glimpse of what this collaboration will entail. Later this year, people will be able to build their own Super Mario worlds with LEGO. The playsets will incorporate a special Mario figure that will be able to interact with your creations in unique ways.

The video below should give you a small glimpse of what to expect.

What do you think of the look of this brand new collaboration? Have any ideas on what else could be included? We’d love to hear what you think in the comments below or on social media!

Check out the Press Release after the break.

Luigi’s Mansion 3 DLC Pack 1 Out Now

Though Halloween is long gone, the Last Resort hotel still has some tricks up their dungarees. As part of the Luigi’s Mansion 3 DLC schedule, Nintendo has just dropped the first pack today.

The DLC pack adds three new costumes to allow Luigi to really get into character: Mummigi, The Green Knight, and Groovigi. While scaling the ScareScraper, you may find yourself in matching environments if someone from your party is wearing one of the special costumes, regardless if others have the DLC installed or not. Did we mention each environment also adds a couple brand new uniquely styled ghosts?

The DLC pack also introduces three new ScreamPark games. Take dodgeball to the next level with the Poltergust G-00 in DodgeBrawl, collect coins in a rubber ducky while dodging logs in River Bank, and capture some ghosts with a ‘shocking’ twist in Tricky Ghost hunt. Want a bit of practive in the ScreamPark?

Haven’t purchased the DLC bundle yet? Never fear, there’s also a brand new update that adds a few other thrilling little features. You can now take on the ScreamPark alone without any opponents in practice mode, tackle a 20-floor ScareScraper, experience five new types of rare ghost in ScareScraper, and even listen to some music from the game in the newly added album.

All of the above is available now, and the DLC can be purchased as part of the DLC bundle for £8.99. Pack 2 will launch some time during the Summer.

Our Hopes, Desires, and Dreams for Breath of the Wild 2

Exactly three years ago, Nintendo revolutionised the Zelda franchise with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and merely two years later, they teased fans with a deliciously dark trailer for its sequel. Not much is known, other than the fact that it could possibly even be darker than its predecessor… maybe more so than Majora’s Mask.

The problem with leaving devoted fans in the dark for so long is that, after a while, they’ll start coming up with their own amazing theories for what the next game will entail, most of which is fuelled by their own desires and what little information they may have. That’s just what we are going to do, theorise what we believe Breath of the Wild 2 (or Breath of the Twild) could have in store when it launches… most of which based purely on what we think could be improved.

Sit back and relax with a nice cup of pumpkin soup as we take you through our hopes, desires, and dreams for Breath of the Twild!

Nintendo promises that this 25 minute presentation will go in depth on what to expect from Animal Crossing: New Horizons in a month’s time. Be sure to check back later for a full rundown for those who can’t make the initial airing… like myself!
