Welcome, foolish mortals, to the first edition of Weekend NintyBeats! Music plays such a huge part within Nintendo games to make them truly remarkable and memorable. To show our appreciation an love of the music, every Friday we shall share a selection of tracks from various Nintendo games, new and old.

What’s a better week to start the show off than Halloween week which will be filled with music from beyond the grave.

NintyBuzz @ EGX 2014

It was an early Sunday morning, dew fresh on the ground and sleep encrusted upon my eyelids. There was no time to waste, as the final day of EGX lay ahead. Yes, we had the pleasure to attend one of the biggest gaming expos in the UK, full of various upcoming titles from many different developers for many different consoles, though of course, we mainly stayed in the Nintendo booth… scratch that, that was our home for the entire day!

FAN CONCEPT: Hyrule Colosseum

Welcome to our newest [well, first] feature, named Fan Concept. In Fan Concept we will showcase a concept for a video game created by either one of us writers, readers… or just a random concept we think looks interesting (of course giving credit where credit is due). Please bear in mind that there isn’t really a schedule for this feature, though I will try my best to bring you lovely readers at least one Fan Concept a month (you can send in your own too at the bottom of the article).  So let’s get our first Fan Concept going.
