(more…)Nintendo has just announced a brand new model of Switch today, the Nintendo Switch OLED Model. That’s a fairly succinct name explaining the core new feature of the system, it’s brand new screen. Also featured is a new dock, improved audio, a much improved kickstand and additional storage. (more…)It would be fair to say that a new Nintendo Direct has been a long-time coming, with it being a whole five hundred and thirty days since the last full-sized Nintendo Direct took place, a Direct which showed off games such as Pokémon Sword and Shield, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles Remastered. Yes, it’s really been that long! Nintendo Direct Mini’s and Partner/Indie showcases have gone some way to keeping fans ticking over, but with this year’s release schedule looking incredibly threadbare it was time to see what Nintendo have in store for Switch owners in the first half of 2021, along with a few possible surprises further down the road. (more…)Nintendo has once again struck with the sudden drop of a Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, the last one of the year at that.
The big announcements for this Direct would be Bravely Default II’s release date, coming February 26th 2021, the surprise drops of both No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on the eShop right now and the announcement of a Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demo available to download right now too. No More Heroes III is also penned for a 2021 release, after the recent announcement of a delay pushed it back from its initial 2020 launch expectations.
(more…)Steve and Alex from Minecraft made a surprise visit today as they dig their way to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sporting a wide array of tools and weapons, they appear to switch between upgradeable gear in the moment as they dig for resources to actively use in battle and upgrade their tools. They also have additional skins for the Zombie and Enderman.
