Collector’s Rejoice With Dandara Super Rare Edition

While the world of Salt hangs of the brink of collapse, a heroine known as Dandara is your only ray of hope in this stylish 2D Metroidvania. Seeing it’s first ever physical release on Nintendo Switch, Dandara: Trials of Fear will be receiving a slightly different treatment from Super Rare Games with this collector’s bundle.

This 1,000 copy collector’s edition comes bundled with a cartridge containing the entire game (including the new Trials of Fear content), a 180 page full-colour guidebook, a custom designed pendant, a full set of 52 playing cards featuring unique art, a collector’s pin badge, an A3 size double-sided map, 2 soundtrack CDs, 2 sets of trading cards, a sticker, and an awesome collector’s box. If you’d rather not spend £75 on this awesome bundle, there is still the standard Super Rare edition on offer for £25. Indie World Showcase Highlights – August 2020

The Nintendo Switch release schedule is looking a little bare at present, with Nintendo fans eagerly anticipating the next full Nintendo Direct in order to learn about the next batch of upcoming titles. Though we may still have to wait a little longer to hear the latest on Metroid Prime 4 and the like, Nintendo aren’t leaving us completely in the cold with this afternoon’s Nintendo Indie Showcase brought us information on some of the biggest Indie games coming soon to the Switchy! REVIEW – Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda

We often get plenty of crossover games in this industry, where two companies come together to create something new by combining one IP with another, often leading to a genre blending experience. Nintendo isn’t exactly a stranger to this concept, having done a fair few crossovers over the years, particularly with Super Smash Bros. But they shocked us when they announced that they had partnered with an indie studio with one of their biggest IPs. By partnering with Brace Yourself Games they allowed them to combine the rhythm action of Crypt of the NecroDancer with the tried and true classic formula of The Legend of Zelda, leading to the inception of Cadence of Hyrule.

Nintendo Announces Indie World Showcase August 2020

A bit earlier, Nintendo announced their next video presentation, this time focusing on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch later this year. The video will go live tomorrow, Tuesday 18th August, from 5pm BST.

To unfold and fold,
An entire world torn apart,
Paper puns are hard.

Ahem, while not the most eloquent haiku ever written, there are more pressing matters at hand, such as the unfolding of the Mushroom Kingdom itself in Paper Mario’s latest barmy adventure for Nintendo Switch.

Chroma Squad Gets Super Rare with Physical Edition

What do you get when you combine five retired stunt actors who start their own Power Rangers inspired show? The next title receiving the Super Rare Games physical edition treatment, Chroma Squad!

First, you’ll have to hire the actors, craft some weapons, and market your show, then you’ll be needing to partake in RPG styled combat with some awesome abilities and team-based manoeuvres.

Orders will open on Thursday 13th August from the Super Rare Games website, with the game being limited to only 4,000 copies. As usual, the game will also come with a fully coloured instruction manual, interior art, an exclusive sticker, and three trading cards from a five-card set.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe Announced for Nintendo Switch this October

Nintendo has just come forth with the announcement of Pikmin 3 Deluxe primed for an October 30th release date. Originally for the Nintendo Wii U, Pikmin 3 sees Alph, Brittany and Charlie adventuring on the planet PNF-404 in search of food by using the native Pikmin creatures to navigate real-time strategy stages.

The new Switch port adds 2 player co-op, added prologue and epilogue adventures starring Olimar and Louie from Pikmin and Pikmin 2, various quality of life changes and a new Piklopedia. Not only that, but all the DLC released on the Wii U version comes packed into this release from the start.
