REVIEW – Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King

When Dragon Quest made the jump to the PS2 in 2004, the series also got a nice upgrade in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. 13 years later, we get a chance to relive this incredible adventure once more for the Nintendo 3DS.

Will Dragon Quest VIII reign supreme with RPG fans, or is it a game that suffer a curse worse than the king… low ratings! Find out in our review, after the break!

The NintyBuzz Awards 2016 – The Results

My, my, my, what an unfortunate couple weeks it has been. First the Baudelaires have been chased down by an untalented fiend, a narcissistic Tango Orange addict is running the United States, and I may have quite possibly failed my Geography exam. But let us move on from the tragic, and onto the triumphant. Yes, it is finally time to announce the results of the NintyBuzz Awards 2016!

The community has voted, and the results are in. Find out which games have won NintyBuzz Awards… after the break!

REVIEW – Paper Mario: Color Splash

After a month absence of gruelling away at university and other personal troubles, I’m back. Rather than give you all some paper thin excuses, I have a new review. While we have the constant debate on which spelling of colour is correct, Mario is back in an anything but flat adventure for Nintendo Wii U, Paper Mario: Color Splash!

Will Color Splash be a tear-rific new adventure for our two dimensional pal, or is it to be crumpled up and thrown into the nearest waste basket? Also, how many lame-nated puns could I possibly make… alright, I’ll stop now!

Check out the full review after the break!

REVIEW – Mario Party Star Rush

Christmas is coming, and what’s better to celebrate than with a party. And what’s better to celebrate a party than with a Mario Party… well, depending on which one, a lot! Mario and friends are back in Mario Party Star Rush, where this time, everyone can move at the same time.

Is Mario still the centre of the party, or will Mario Party Star Rush crash hard (just like Tesco Value booze… don’t drink kids)? Check out the review, after the break!

REVIEW – Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past

Released 15 years ago in 2001, Dragon Quest VII was an RPG that was ahead of its time. Heck, I never played it until this review, and I can see how vast the game is! Dragon Quest VII follows the quest of Auster and co., as they explore the mysteries of the past and uncover new lands in the present.

Is Dragon Quest VII another fantastic RPG for the 3DS, or will it become a forgotten relic? Find out in our review, after the break!
