Rocket League – Review

*Strong Language Warning*

Let’s start out with this statement: I can’t stand football. I find the whole concept of rude idiots (mostly, some of them are nice and intelligent) kicking a ball around a field and falling over like they’ve been on the receiving end of a tactical carpet bombing getting paid enormously vast sums of money for it to be completely baffling. Not that professional sport shouldn’t be a thing, but the money involved in professional football is vastly disproportionate to almost any other sport, excluding motorsport because the science behind that stuff cost a shit load of money.

Now I could go on about this subject, in fact I did on the first draft of this, but that’s not why you’re here. The purpose of the above paragraph was to show the point that I really like Rocket League means. (more…)

REVIEW – Yoshi’s Woolly World

A faithful yet mistreated steed, an eggcelent smasher, and a plumber’s babysitter, T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas, or more commonly known as Yoshi, has had many jobs throughout his history and now he is making a warm and fuzzy return on the Wii U after his latest outing on 3DS, though this time he has ditched his babysitting duties to save Craft Island and its inhabitants from unraveling from existence in Yoshi’s Woolly World!

Is Woolly World better than that cuddly bear you still cuddle, or more embarrassing than the christmas jumper your gran got you last year… in June? Find out in our review after the break!

REVIEW – Splatoon

The weather is getting hot (finally) and school’s breaking up (hopefully). Summer is coming and it is the perfect time for riding some gnarly waves, delicious BBQs, staying fresh, swimming in ink, and, most importantly, battling in turf wars! Splatoon was released exclusively for the Wii U only a few weeks ago, and I was able to spend some time with it, being both a squid and a kid.

Find out whether Splatoon is as fresh as the Krak-on Splat Roller or unfresh like the Octolings… after the break!

REVIEW – Mario Party 10

Some of you may be convinced that I ate a Poisonous Mushroom as I recently decided to purchase the digital version of Mario Party 10, and I’ll be honest, half of me is thinking I had a nibble at that aforementioned shroom. I’ve been able to have a good play around with it, so let us get on with the review. I think the easiest way to do this, is to separate the good from the bad, so let us begin with the good (yes, there are still good factors in a Mario Party title) right after the break!

NOTE – A lot of the review contradicts itself… YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Majora’s Mask 3D Review

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask; a game that came out over a decade ago, a game that is held dearly by many, and a game that finally got the remake it deserved. Majora’s Mask 3D released on February 13th for the Nintendo 3DS, but with the reception the original got does the new iteration hold up? That’s what I plan on discussing in this review so let’s get started… after the break!

REVIEW – New Nintendo 3DS

In 2011, Nintendo introduced the first glasses-free 3D handheld console with the Nintendo 3DS. A year later, in 2012, Nintendo released the XL counterpart promising larger screens. This was followed by a 3D-less budget model another year later, in 2013, with the 2DS. Now, Nintendo are starting to introduce the newest member of the 3DS family, though this time it isn’t just the aesthetics that have been changed, the whole system has received a hefty update!

We were lucky enough to get our hands on the New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition, which has been offered to select Club Nintendo members within Europe. Today, we will be reviewing the console, giving you a lowdown on what we think. Hopefully this should aid you in the decision of whether or not to upgrade [or to dip into the 3DS pool if you haven’t already]

Without further ado, check out our full review after the break!
